ONCE YOU GO BLACK...
Introducing Gelosophy Gel polish in the distinctive black bottle from Astonishing. Once you try Gelosophy, you will never want to use another Gel polish! Gelosophy can be used by Professional Nail Technicians as a primary service or an add on service. Gelosophy comes with a primary color pallet of 62 colours as well as fashion oriented seasonal collections. It is a a non-solvent based UV/LED nail polish that has the perfect viscosity for easy application in thin layers reducing any excess volume.
NOT JUST ANOTHER GELPOLISH
Gelosophy Gel polish is a specially formulated soak off UV/LED nail polish with proprietary rights, created by 9 time World Champion Nail Technician David Fowler and Astonishing Nails - based in the Netherlands. What does Proprietary Rights mean? A proprietary item is an item that is exclusively owned by a private individual or corporation under a trademark and patent that is selected for their use exclusively – this means that no other company has the formula for Gelosophy Gel polish. Proprietary means 100% consistency and reliable quality from our Gel polishes. What's more, Gelosophy Gel polish is not a “gelish” gel polish - unlike other gel polishes that are gel with a solvent base, Gelosophy is 100% pure Gel with an extremely low viscosity. It looks and pours just like a nail polish - but is 100% Gel.
THE NAKED TRUTH
The Naked truth about the Nail Industry is that most of the big-name nail brands have their Gel polishes made by the same 2 – 3 manufacturers and their product formula’s are basically the same. The real difference in only found in the label, the marketing and the price that is charged because of the label.
When Gel polish hit the market, David Fowler did not like using most of the big brand name Gel polishes because he found, as many Nail Tech’s do today, that they always have waves in the surface of the product. He also found that after most Gel polishes were cured under a UV or LED Lamp, there was a bump on the nails after it came out of the Lamp. These problems arise because all other Gel polishes are solvent based.
ONE OF A KIND
Gelosophy Gel polish is unique because it is the only Gel polish product on the market that is not solvent based. A solvent base causes problems with pigmentation. This is why certain Gel polish colours don’t work or give consistent colour on a nail the way they should. You find with solvent based Gel polishes that you often get striping, swirling and separation of pigments. Sometimes you have to add more layers just to get even, consistent colour.
Unlike other Gel polishes, Gelosophy does not have a solvent base. It is 100% Gel with a significantly lower viscosity. The viscosity of Gelosophy is so low that it looks just like Nail Polish. Many Nail Companies say that their Gel polish paints on like Nail Polish when in reality it doesn’t.
